The Witcher 4 is officially in Development – When is it Expected?

Toss a coin to your witcher and get ready for the legendary sequel to one of the goated game.

Yesterday afternoon, Sebastian Kalemba, VP and Game Director at CD Projekt RED, revealed on Twitter (X) that full-scale production on The Witcher 4 has begun. This comes after the end of the pre-production phase. He also said that he was sure the new series would be a fantastic experience for fans.

Since its announcement in 2022, The Witcher 4 has stayed in its early development phase. We are getting closer to understanding its current development status, though, thanks to yesterday’s exciting update from the CD Projekt Red team.

When is Witcher 4 Going to Be Released?

Assuming all goes according to plan, The Witcher 4 might be released in 2025 (or at least that’s the goal CDPR has set for themselves) from the studio CDPR. Even though 2022 is still three years away, CDPR confirmed in 2022 that The Witcher 4 is likely to launch in 2025. We dont have high hopes but we don’t care as long as they take their time to create another AAAA masterpiece.
