The Blood of Dawnwalker, the much awaited role-playing game, has released its first trailer, and it looks fantastic. Rebel Wolves, a studio started by former Witcher developers, including Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who directed the game for The Witcher 3, is working on the new game. It is the initial installment of a planned “saga.”

The story is set in a country named Vale Sangora, which is hidden away someplace in the Carpathian Mountains in an alternate Europe of the 14th century. The land has been devastated by war, and the population has been wiped out by the Black Death. At the start of the game, a group of newly empowered vampires have ousted feudal rulers. Players assume control of Coen, a “Dawnwalker” who can move through the day and night while employing a variety of vampiric abilities in addition to traditional fighting techniques. Coen’s skills and talents vary with the time of day, as do the plot points.

Here, there is a strong emphasis on choice: Will you accept humanity or the vampire’s curse? The passage of time also has a significant impact on how quests unfold. You are not only exploring an open environment but also competing against a ticking clock, as Coen has just 30 days to save his family. This gives the traditional RPG genre a truly intriguing twist.

The Blood of Dawnwalker release date – Only Speculations

With the end of the trailer we can see that there is a set date for gameplay reveal this summer. However at this time, there is no word on when The Blood of Dawnwalker will be available for purchase.While neither publisher Bandai Namco nor developer Rebel Wolves have said when the game would be released, they have promised a summer 2025 premiere with additional information and gameplay. Also there is no current date for pre-order options.

Our best guess is that this means the earliest probable release could be Q1 of 2026.
